Amit's speed = 54 km/h = (54 ×1000 m) / (3600 s) = 15 m/s
Formula used:-
Two trains/bodies are moving in the same direction at u m/s & v m/s,
where u>v then the relative speed in the same direction = (u - v) m/s.
Calculation:-
Relative speed = Amit's speed - Sohan's speed
⇒15 m/s - 10 m/s = 5 m/s
Time (t) = Distance (d) / Relative Speed
Time (t) = 1125 m / 5 m/s = 225 seconds
∴ Sohan and Amit will meet for the first time since the start of the race after 225 seconds.
