Speed of boy = 4 km/h

Formula used:

Time (t) = Distance / Speed

Calculations:

Perimeter of the square field = 4 × Side

⇒ Perimeter = 4 × 79 = 316 m

Speed in m/s = (4 × 5/18) = 10/9 m/s

Time = Distance / Speed

⇒ Time = 316 / (10/9)

⇒ Time = 284.4 seconds

∴ The correct answer is option (2).
