Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
A train traveling at 70 km/h crosses another train traveling in the same direction at 34 km/h in 25 seconds.
Concept used:
They are traveling in the same direction, So relative speed will be difference of their speed.
Calculation:
Relative speed of two trains is 70 -34 = 36 km/hr
36 km /hr = 36 × 5/18
⇒ 10 meter/sec
The combined length of both the trains is 25 × 10 = 250 meters
∴ The correct option is 2
