The authoritative board in charge of holding the UP Police Constable exam is the Uttar Pradesh Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). UP Police Constable Selection Process 2024: Overview

The Commission has released the four-stage selection procedure for the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024. The Police Constable position will be filled by candidates who successfully complete all the stages of the UP Police selection process.

UP Police Constable Selection Process: Written Examination 

The recruiting board sets the minimum passing marks in the written test for all categories of candidates (GEN/OBC/SC/ST) when the UP Police written exam is administered in offline (pen and paper) mode. This is known as the UP Police Constable cut-off, which determines who gets chosen for the first round by the selection committee. This exam lasts for a total of two hours. For the next stage of the UP Police Constable Exam Process candidates must get the necessary qualifying marks.

The UPPRPB will publish the merit list following the written exam based on each candidate's performance and the marks they received. Those who pass the written exam will then show up for the physical examination test which is the second stage of the UP Police selection process.

UP Police Constable Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

UP Police Constable Selection Process: Document Verification & Medical Examination

Candidates will be invited for the document verification stage of the UP Police Constable Recruitment Process after passing the physical test, and each applicant will be required to present the certifications they uploaded when registering with the authorities.

UP Police Constable Selection Process: Final Merit List

The final merit list for the applicants in each category will be uploaded on the website of the relevant Board following the successful conclusion of the physical fitness test and based on each candidate's performance on the written test. This is the last stage of the UP Police Constable Process.
