Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old as of January 1, 2024, to be eligible for the SGPGI Nursing Officer position in 2024.

SGPGI Nursing Officer Educational Qualification

The candidate must have completed:

(i) B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University. 

OR

Those who have completed B.Sc. (Post certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University

• (ii) Registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or the India Nursing Council 

OR

(i) A diploma in general nursing and midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council.

(ii) Registered with the Indian Nursing Council as a Nurse and Midwife.

(iii) Two years of experience at a minimum 50-bed hospital after obtaining the aforementioned educational qualification
