RRB JE IT Answer Key 2024 (Out): Steps to Download & Calculate Marks

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB JE IT 2024 Answer Key for the CBT 1 examination which was scheduled on 16th, 17th, and 18th December 2024. Candidates can view their question papers, responses, and answer keys via the official RRB websites from 6:00 PM on 23rd December 2024 to 11:55 PM on 28th December 2024. Objections regarding questions, options, and answer keys can be submitted during this period. A fee of Rs. 50/- per question plus bank charges applies, and the fee will be refunded if the objection is deemed valid. Refunds will be credited to the account used for payment. Important points related to the RRB JE IT Exam 2024 Answer Key that candidates must note includes: 

• The RRB JE IT answer key contains all of the correct answers. Candidates can use the answer key to figure out their estimated scores.  
• Any inaccuracies on the answer key must be reported to the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) right away. If the inaccuracies are confirmed, the RRB will rectify them as deemed to be required. 
• The RRB JE IT results of the objective type test are not included in the RRB JE IT Answer Key 2024. It can only be used as a guide for figuring out the expected grades. 
• A different date will be announced for RRB JE IT Merit List 2024. The candidate's performance in the OTT and Viva-voce will determine the outcome.

Candidates should get the RRB JE IT answer key as soon as it becomes accessible on the internet. The steps to download the answer key are as follows: -

Step 2: Under the "Latest Update" tab, find and click on the link for the RRB JE IT Answer Key 2024.

Step 3: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) posts exam answer key will be shown as a PDF on the screen.

Step 4: Click the “Get” button at the top of the screen to download the PDF.

Step 5: Once the file has been downloaded, open it in the downloaded section of the computer and print it out for easy reference.

Candidates can use the RRB JE IT Answer Key 2024 to estimate their chances of moving forward in the selection process. Railway Recruitment Board will also produce a merit list, which will include the names of candidates who have advanced to the viva voce and document verification stages.

How to Calculate Marks for RRB JE IT Exam 2024?

The performance of candidates in the Stage I (CBT), Stage II (CBT), Stage III (Medical Fitness Test), and the last stage is the Document Verification round will be used to choose candidates for RRB JE IT. The marking methodology for the Stage I and Stage II exam has been made public as part of the formal recruitment notification. 

Candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete 150 multiple-choice questions and 90 minutes to complete 100 objective type questions. The examination paper will be broken into several portions. The following are some crucial data about the RRB JE IT Exam Pattern and marking methodology:

Step 1: The stage I exam comprises 100 questions worth 1 mark each.

Step 2: The stage II exam comprises of 150 questions worth 1 marks each

Step 3: Every correct answer is awarded 1 mark.

Step 4: Every incorrect answer gets a negative marking of 0.33.

Step 5: Candidates who qualify for the stage I and stage II exam will be selected for medical test and document verification rounds.

How to Raise Objections in the RRB JE IT Answer Key 2024?

RRB will first release a tentative RRB JE IT answer key for the exam. Candidates should check the answer key and identify if there are any issues in the answer key. Candidates must submit their representation with the relevant evidence on the official website. 

A fee of INR 50 per question might also need to be paid for every objection. The objection is found to be valid and accurate, the changes will be made and the final answer key will be subsequently released.
