Radius (r) = d/2 = 28/2 = 14 cm

Height (h) = 42 cm

Formula used:

Curved Surface Area (CSA) of a cylinder = 2πrh

Calculations:

CSA = 2 × π × 14 × 42

⇒ CSA = 2 × 22/7 × 14 × 42

⇒ CSA = 2 × 22 × 2 × 42
