Given:

The circumference of a circle = 132 cm

Formula used:

Circumference(C) of a circle = 2πr

Area of a circle = πr2

Where, r = radius

Calculation:

According to the question,

C = 2 × 22/7 × r

⇒ 132 = 44r/7

r = 21 cm

Now,

Area of a circle = πr2

⇒ 22/7 × 21 × 21 = 1386 cm2

∴ The area of circle is 1386 cm2.
