Calculation:

Given the circuit

From the above concept,

  • 32 V and 14 V Voltage source equivalent to 46 V because both voltage source is in series.
  • 2 A and 3.5 A Current source equivalent to 1.5 A in downwards direction because both are in anti-parallel to each other.


Hence circuit becomes:

From the above-simplified circuit diagram:

40 Ω resistance is connected in parallel with the 46 V voltage source.

∴ V2 = 46 V
