Border of length 1 cm is left,
So, the length of cardboard = 10 + 1 + 1 = 12
And, the width of the cardboard = 8 + 1 + 1 = 10
Area of cardboard required = (10 + 1 + 1) × (8 + 1 + 1) = 12 × 10 = 120 cm2
Area of cardboard removed = 225 - 120 = 105 cm2
∴ Required percentage = (105/225) × 100 = 46.67%
∴ The correct answer is 46.67%
