Area of sector = (θ/360) × πr²

Calculation:

F2 Teaching Savita 24-1-24 D1

The area grazed by cow = (θ/360) × πr2, where θ is 90º.

= 90/360{(22/7) × 14²}

= 1/4 × {(22/7) × 142}

= 154 cm²

∴ Area of the field which cow can graze is = 154 cm²
