Indian Airforce Agniveer Adaptability Test: Check the Test Details

Students preparing for the Air Force Agniveer Exam should familiarize themselves with the exam format. The Air Force Agniveer exam covers a variety of topics, including English, Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA), Physics, and Mathematics. In the online application form, a candidate can indicate his preference for the group he wants to join during the online exam. Alternatives include science subjects (Group X), subjects other than science (Group Y), and both science subjects and non-science subjects (Group X-Y). The Adaptability Test is a psychological assessment designed to evaluate candidates' mental ability. 

• The SRT (Situation Reaction Test) consists of 45 multiple-choice questions that candidates must answer correctly in 30 minutes. 
• The Adaptability Test 1 examines a candidate's general behavior and attitude toward society, the environment, and situations that are similar to those in real life. 
• The Adaptability Test 2 is a group discussion (GD) in which 15 candidates will be seated together and asked to express their opinions on a specified subject.

What is SRT (Situation Reaction Test)?

• This test is crucial to determining an applicant's ability to handle complex and urgent events like disasters and unforeseen situations in a short amount of time.
• This is a test of maturity, common sense, and reasoning ability.
• One runs into certain unexpected circumstances in daily life. When an unexpected circumstance arises, the response is obvious and natural. In response, the man takes action to address the problem and looks for a solution.
• The ability of the test-taking candidate to handle challenging circumstances is evaluated.

Air Force Agniveer Adaptability Test

While the written exam is part of Phase 1 of the Air Force X-Y group selection process, Phase 2 also includes the Adaptability Test 1 (AT 1), Adaptability Test 2 (AT 2), and Physical Fitness Test (PFT).

Air Force Agniveer Adaptability Test (At) 1

The Situation Reaction Tests (SRTs) used in AT 1 measure a candidate's capacity for adaptation to survive in a range of environmental, social, and climatic settings. Candidates are given 40 SRT questions with a total of 4 choices. The allotted time is 30 minutes. The circumstances are real-world events. 

Air Force Agniveer Adaptability Test (AT) 2

The AT 2 is a test of English proficiency. Lecturette round and group discussion are included. According to its name, AT2 is a test of your capacity to adapt, but this time it's to job, coworkers, and employment. The primary judging criteria are communication ability, English speaking ability, self-assurance, and general knowledge. The applicants are given a topic here, and they have five minutes to write a speech and narrate it. Each candidate must introduce themselves before beginning their speech.

Air Force Agniveer Preparation Tips

Here are some points to be kept in mind while attempting SRT questions:

• Try to respond to all 45 questions within the allotted time.
• Depict through your responses that you are socially responsible, reliable, nationalistic, smart and reliable.
• Be realistic in your understanding of the question; avoid being fictitious.
• Since it's a personality test, you must be genuine and not make-believe.
• Time constraint + analysis: Keep a check on time and understand the situation properly before responding. Often, the situation gets repeated, but the context is different, so answer very carefully. 
• Always maintain composure and calm while selecting the appropriate answer.
• Donts: Don’t elaborate your answer, just mark the suitable option; don’t skip any situation, because they are all real- life so you have to answer all; and get over panicking, be easy.
• Prove that you have a desirable, army- like mindset.
• Be clear and confident in your responses.
• Don't contradict yourself in a similar situation.
