Test Series
The fusion of male and female gametes leads to the creation of a zygote. This zygote then goes through a process of mitotic division, resulting in the formation of blastomeres. These blastomeres further divide, forming a structure known as a blastocyst. As the blastocyst matures, it migrates into the uterus. The blastomere cells in the blastocyst are grouped into an external layer, known as the trophoblast. The cells inside the trophoblast are referred to as the inner cell mass. Eventually, the trophoblast attaches itself to the endometrium of the uterus. The inner cell mass is the part that develops into an embryo.
