The AP LAWCET Eligibility 2025 is stated by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for the 5-year and 3-year LLB courses. AP LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The AP LAWCET Eligibility 2025 are based on the qualifications and marks candidates achieved in their examinations. Also, the age limit plays an important role in determining the eligibility the APLAWCET exam. However, as of now, the APSCHE has not specified any age limit for the AP LAWCET exam. The detailed eligibility criteria for the 3-year LLB course and the 5-year LLB course is mentioned below.

AP LAWCET Eligibility 2025 for 5-Year LLB Course

Aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria in order to pursue 5 year LLB Course through the AP LAWCET 2025:

• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Educational Qualification: Applicants must have passed their two-year intermediate examination in a (10+2) education format from a board or institution recognized by a state or national education board.
• Minimum Marks: Candidates should have at least 45% in their (10+2) exams.
• SC/ST Category: Candidates of SC/ST category must achieve a minimum of 40% in their (10+2) exams to be eligible for AP LAWCET 2025.

AP LAWCET Eligibility 2025 for 3-Year LLB Course

Candidates who wants to pursue the 3-year LLB program through AP LAWCET 2025, the eligibility requirements are as follows:

• Educational Qualification: A graduation in any discipline under the (10+2+3) format.
• Minimum Marks: A minimum of 45% in the graduation exams is required for eligibility.
• Alternate Qualification: If a candidate has secured less than 45% in their (10+2) exams, they must have an additional graduation or postgraduate degree with at least 45%.
• Nationality: The candidate must be an Citizen of India.
• SC/ST Category: Candidates from the SC/ST category must have a minimum of 40% in their graduation exams to qualify for the AP LAWCET exam for the 3-year LLB course

Note: A candidate with I.T.I as basic qualification is not eligible for appearing in the LAWCET examination.

AP LAWCET Category wise Eligibility 2025

The candidates must score a minimum of the below-mentioned marks in order to qualify for admissions:

AP LAWCET Age limit

According to the AP LAWCET 2025 eligibility criteria, there is no specified age limit for candidates applying for the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET examination. However, there are minimum age requirements:

• Candidates must be at least 17 years old for 5-year LLB Course.
• Candidates must be minimum 21 years old for 3-year LLB Course.

Number of Attempts

Candidates can take the AP LAWCET exam as many times as they want because there is no limit on the number of attempts. They can keep trying as long as they meet the eligibility rules each time. This gives candidates a chance to try again if they don’t get into the course they want. They can also improve their score. But, candidates must make sure to follow all the rules set by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

Nationality 

Candidate should be an Indian Citizen. They should also possess the local/non local status as specified by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order 1974 and the amendments made after that.

Documents Required for AP LAWCET 2025

The following documents will be required by the candidates during the time of selection:

• AP LAWCET Admit Card
• AP LAWCET Rank Card
•  Mark sheets: Class 10, 12 and the UG course
• Study or Bonafide Certificate: A certificate indicating the candidate's seven years of academic history immediately preceding the year of passing the qualifying examination.
• Transfer Certificate: Required from the previous institution.
• Integrated Caste Certificate: For candidates belonging to Minorities, SC, ST, or BC categories (if applicable).
• Income Certificate: It should be issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) after January 1 of the admission year. This certificate is validated for 3 years from the date of issue and is required for candidates claiming fee exemption.
• Residence Certificate / Aadhar Card: As proof of the candidate’s or their parent’s residency in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years.
• NCC / CAP / PH / Sports and Games Certificates: If applicable, these certificates are required for candidates claiming benefits under these categories.
• Issued Receipt of Certificates: A receipt confirming the submission of certificates after verification at the designated helpline centers.

AP LAWCET Eligibility Criteria for Sports Quota

Candidates interested in applying under the sports quota must submit the necessary documents to the relevant authorities. Candidates should also pay attention to the below mentioned points.The candidate should be actively participating in the sport and should not have stopped playing it for more than 3 years.

• Preference will be given to candidates who are individual sport players over those involved in team sports.
• In case the candidate clears the exam with the required marks, the sports quota will not be considered.
• The entrance test will serve as a tiebreaker in case of a clash of merits.
• If a candidate has served two sports, he will be given preference for the one with greater merit.
