The National Testing Agency (NTA) administered the JEE Main 2019. It was the first time in JEE history that the JEE Main was held twice a year, once in January and once in April. Each session has multiple slots, and each slot has one paper, so there are multiple papers in each session.

The January session began on the 8th and ended on the 12th. On the 8th, Paper - 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning was held, while the B.Tech paper was held from the 9th to the 12th.
The April session began on the 7th and ended on the 12th. On the 7th, Paper - 2 for B.Arch and B.Planning was held, while the B.Tech paper was held from the 8th to the 12th.
