Bihar ANM Annual Package 2024

The annual Bihar ANM Salary package on average is expected to be around Rs. 62,400 to Rs. 2,40,000. The selected candidates will also be eligible for the additional allowances and incentives once the probation period is over.

Bihar ANM Grade Pay

The candidates selected for the post of ANM in Bihar will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 4 as per the 7th Pay Commission guidelines. The grade pay for ANM post is Rs.2400. The grade pay is a component of the total salary package and determines the hierarchical role and importance of the position. The candidates selected for the post should perform all the duties assigned as per the Bihar ANM job profile. The candidates selected for the post of auxiliary Nurse and midwifery in Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) are expected to perform the following job duties when selected:

• Assist the staff nurse in preparing the patient for any procedure or in keeping track of patient information.
• Assist the doctor in carrying out any physical examinations on the patient as needed.
• Keep the unit clean, paying specific attention to infection control rules.
• Auxiliary nursing duties are performed to ensure patient comfort throughout healthcare deliveries.
• Vital signs, blood pressure, and temperature should be observed, taken, and recorded.
• Assist qualified nurses in the delivery of patient care.
• Assist in dressing, washing, and bathing handicapped individuals
• Patients should be fed breakfast, noon, supper, and dinner.
• On the guidance of doctors or experienced nurses, administer medications to patients.
• Clean and sterilise the patient's environment.
• On the recommendation of doctors and nurses, take patients for a walk.
• Make the beds and replace the sheets.

Bihar ANM Probation Period 2024

The selected applicants will be subjected to a probationary period according to BTSC Services Rule beginning on the day of their appointment, during which their work behaviour and performance will be reviewed. Candidates will receive allowances, incentives, and other benefits associated with the position if they successfully complete the probation period. However, if candidates do not perform well in their probationary period, the commission has the right to terminate him/her.
