The pattern followed here is:

Logic: If one side is similar in both figures then the other two sides of both figures are opposite to each other.

Taking dice of figure numbers (1) and (2)

Here, 4 and 2 are common in both the dice and 3 is opposite to 6.

Taking dice numbers (2) and (3)

Here, 4 and 6 are common in both the dice and 2 is opposite to 5.

Opposite pairs are:

⇒ 3 - 6

⇒ 2 - 5

⇒ 4 - 1

Clearly, 1 is the opposite of 4.

Hence, the correct answer is 4.
