Comparing all the given numbers, the highest number is 909.

For 909, the third digit is 9.

Comparing all the given numbers, the lowest number is 268.

For 268, the first digit is 2.

The third digit of the highest number (9) is to be subtracted from the first digit of the lowest number (2).

→ First digit of lowest number - Third digit of highest number

→ 2 - 9 = -7.

The resultant is -7.
