महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण रोजगार हमी कायदा (मनरेगा) 2005:
- हे 2 फेब्रुवारी 2006 रोजी लाँच केले गेले.
- प्रत्येक ग्रामीण कुटुंबाला दरवर्षी 100 दिवसांचा खात्रीशीर रोजगार देण्याचे मनरेगाचे उद्दिष्ट आहे.
- निर्माण होणाऱ्या नोकऱ्यांपैकी एक तृतीयांश नोकऱ्या महिलांसाठी राखीव असतील.
- एखाद्या अर्जदाराला अर्ज केल्याच्या 15 दिवसांच्या आत नोकरी न मिळाल्यास, त्याला रोजचा बेरोजगार भत्ता दिला जाईल.
- या योजनेच्या अंमलबजावणीसाठी राष्ट्रीय आणि राज्यस्तरीय रोजगार हमी निधीची स्थापना केली जाईल.
