Advantage of MOS IC, over BJT IC is:

1) It requires less space i.e. higher packing density

2) Manufacturing process is simple

3) Operating power is small

4) Smaller leakage current

5) Higher frequency stability.

Disadvantage: The speed of operation in BJT ICs is greater compared to MOS ICs. It is because of the presence of capacitances.
