• ITB Berlin 2025 was held from 4th – 6th March 2025 at Messe Berlin.
• The India Pavilion at ITB Berlin was inaugurated by H.E Ajit Gupte, Ambassador of India in Germany, along with Mr Kandula Durgesh (Minister of Tourism, Andhra Pradesh) and Mr Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi (Minister of Tourism, Madhya Pradesh).
• Germany remains one of the top ten source markets for inbound tourists to India, with 0.20 million Germans visiting India in 2023.
• Several Indian states, including Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Rajasthan, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, participated in ITB Berlin 2025 to showcase their new destinations and tourism products.
• The Chalo India initiative was launched by the Prime Minister of India to promote India to non-Indian friends of the Indian diaspora. This initiative provides a gratis e-tourist visa valid until 31st March 2025.
• A new and revamped Incredible India Digital Portal was launched alongside the Incredible India Content Hub, offering a tourist-centric one-stop digital solution to enhance the travel experience.
• The Incredible India Content Hub is a comprehensive digital repository for stakeholders and travelers.
