Odisha CGL Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates must have knowledge of the eligibility criteria they need to fulfill to be eligible for the Odisha CGL Examination 2024. Odisha CGL Eligibility Criteria consists of age limit, educational qualification, and other factors.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 38 years
Candidates must not be below the age of 21 years and not exceed the age limit of 38 years. However, the upper age limit may vary for different posts and according to the candidate’s category. Age relaxation is also provided to the reserved category candidates.
Qualification
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a government-recognized university.
- Candidates must have proficiency in Computer Skills or a certification in Computer basics from PGDCA.
- Candidates must mandatorily pass the Computer Skill Test to be eligible for the position.
- For Assistant Statistical Officer, candidates need a bachelor's degree with Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related subjects as honors/major, or a postgraduate degree in relevant fields.
- For Statistical Assistant, a bachelor's degree with honors in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Commerce is required.
- For other posts, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in the respective discipline from a government-recognized university or institution.
Nationality
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the Odisha CGL Examination.
