The Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) is an entrance exam that is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, Hyderabad. The TS POLYCET entrance exam is conducted for the candidates seeking admission into all Diploma Courses in Engineering /Non-Engineering/Technology, Agricultural, Veterinary, and Horticulture offered at Polytechnics /Institutions in Telangana State.

How to Check the TS POLYCET 2025 Result?

The candidate can check the TS POLYCET 2025 Results on its official website. The steps to check TS POLYCET 2025 exam results are given below.

Step 1: Visit the Official website at https://www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in/

Step 2: Navigate to the TS POLYCET candidate result portal.

Step 3: Enter the TSPOLYCET- 2025 Hall Ticket Number.

Step 4: Click on the view rank card option displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Your result will be displayed. Take a printout for future reference.

TS POLYCET Result 2025 - Rank List

The Candidates will be ranked in the order of merit based on the marks obtained in the TS POLYCET-2025. The rank obtained in TS POLYCET-2025 is valid for admission into Diploma Courses, as the case may be, for the academic year 2025- 2026 only. 

Two separate Ranks will be generated for each candidate through POLYCET for Admissions into Polytechnics and Admissions into Agricultural Diplomas & Veterinary & Horticulture Diplomas. 

The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 30% (i.e., 36 marks out of a total of 120 marks). Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes or Scheduled Tribes shall be assigned a ranking by obtaining a minimum one (01) mark in the entrance test. Such candidates with less than 30% marks in POLYCET-2025 shall be eligible to compete for their category of seats during the admission. 

Tie-Breaking Rule for TS POLYCET 2025 Result

Candidates can go through the criteria that TS POLYCET authorities follow if two or more candidates secure the same marks in the TS POLYCET 2025 Entrance exam. In case of a tie, the relative rank will be decided as mentioned below: 

1. i) In case of a tie in rank at the entrance test, the marks of the following subjects at the Entrance Test in the same order as given below shall be considered for resolving the tie. 

1. Mathematics 
2. Physics 

If the tie persists, the Date of Birth (DOB) will be considered, and the rank will be given based on seniority. 

1. ii) While resolving the tie based on the Date of birth as entered in the S.S.C. Certificate of the Candidate, a candidate born earlier will be deemed to have obtained a higher rank (better rank). 

iii) In case the tie is still not resolved, the candidate who has secured a higher percentage of marks in the qualifying test will be considered to have obtained a better rank to resolve the tie.
