The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET), Telangana, Hyderabad declares the TS POLYCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for candidates who want to apply for the exam. All the candidates who want to apply for the exam must satisfy all TS POLYCET eligibility criteria set by the exam-conducting body. The TS POLYCET entrance exam is conducted for the candidates seeking admission into all Diploma Courses in Engineering /Non-Engineering/Technology, Agricultural, Veterinary, and Horticulture offered at Polytechnics /Institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics /Institutions running in Private Engineering Colleges) in Telangana State. The TS POLYCET eligibility criteria 2025 must be acknowledged by the candidate for preparing for the exam.

Number of Attempts

Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Exams
The Aggregate Marks in the Qualifying Exam are set by the exam conducting body. For each stream, the aggregate marks for qualifying exams vary accordingly. The aggregate marks for the courses offered by the TS POLYCET are given below:

TS POLYCET Eligibility Criteria - Nationality & Domicile
As per the eligibility criteria declared by the exam conducting body, the candidate must be Indian National. The candidates must be of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh domicile.
Eligibility for Admission to Participating Colleges for TS POLYCET 2025
For Admission to participating colleges for 2025, the candidate must pass the TS POLYCET 2025 exam with the given minimum cutoff. Candidates qualifying in the TS POLYCET exam are called for the counselling round as per merit. In the TS POLYCET 2025 counselling session, candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses and institutions. Documents Required for TS POLYCET 2025 Admission
The TS POLYCET Entrance Exam requires the following documents: 10th Class mark sheet, Community certificate, Income certificate, Nativity certificate, Birth certificate, and Ex-Serviceman certificate provided by Rajya Sainik Board to make sure the details provided by the candidate are valid and assigned by a rightful authority. The documents that are required for applying for the TS POLYCET exam are given below:
- TSPOLYCET-2025 Score Card.
- Aadhar Card.
- S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo.
- IV to X Study Certificates.
- Transfer Certificate (T.C).
- Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2022 by the competent authority, if applicable.
- EWS Income Certificate issued by Tahsildar valid for the year 2022-23, if applicable.
- Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
- Residence Certificate of a candidate for a period of 7 years preceding the qualifying examination in case the candidate has no institutionalized education.
- In respect of Non-Local candidates to consider for allotment under unreserved seats, the following certificates need to be submitted.
- Residence Certificate: Candidates who have resided in the State for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of study outside the State; or either of whose parents have resided in the State for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of employment outside the State. (OR)
- Employer Certificate: Candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, local bodies, Universities, and other similar Quasi Public Institutions within the State at the time of applying for the TS POLYCET-2022 Examination. Minorities: SSC TC containing Minority Status or Certificate from the Headmaster.
