TNFUSRC Forester Selection Process & Exam Pattern 2023

The candidate must know the exam pattern to ace the Recruitment Examination. The TNFUSRC Forester exam pattern for Computer-based test of the recruitment process is discussed below in detail:

Stage- 1: Computer-based Examination

• The TNFUSRC Forester will be held in online mode.
• The TNFUSRC Forester Examination questions will be in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• The TNFUSRC Forester question paper will be set in both English and Tamil.
• Each of the papers will be of 100 marks. 
• Based on the Computer Based Examination, the successful candidates will be called for appearing in Endurance Test, Physical Standards Verification, and Personality Test in 1:3 ratio for final selection for the post of TNFUSRC Forester. 
• The maximum marks assigned for the Personality Test is 25.

Stage-2 Physical Standards

The candidate must possess the following minimum Physical Standards in the TNFUSRC Forester Examination.

The candidate who belong to the Scheduled Tribes and Jungle Tribes shall be the minimum height standards to be eligible to be apply for the TNFUSRC Forester post:-

• Male Candidate should be of 152 cm height. 
• Female and Third gender candidates should be of 145 cm height. 

ii) Certificate of Physical Standard

A certificate of physical standard containing the following particulars should be obtained from a Medical Officer, above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon appointed by the Government to Government Medical Institution and should submit the documents when called for by the TNFUSRC.

iii) Endurance Test

The selected candidates will be required to undergo a Physical test consisting of a walk for 25 km and 16 km to be completed in four hours by male and female/ third gender candidates respectively which will be conducted by the TNFUSRC before admission to the Personality test. The candidate must also satisfy a Medical Board in Chennai regarding his/her physical fitness and capacity for rough outdoor work in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department.
