The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a major update to its mySSC mobile app. SSC has made the entire exam application process mobile-friendly which will be started from June 2025. Earlier, candidates could only capture live photos via the app and submit their applications on the SSC website. Now, with the upgraded version, candidates can complete the full application process directly within the mySSC app.
The app now supports Aadhaar-based authentication as per the policy released on 23rd May 2025. To apply, candidates must first complete the One Time Registration (OTR) using their Aadhaar number. The app is compatible with Android phones running version 11 or higher.

The SSC has significantly enhanced the mySSC app to streamline the application process for its various recruitment examinations. Eligibility and Device Requirements for Using the mySSC App
To use the upgraded mySSC app, candidates must have an Android smartphone running on version 11 or higher. The application process requires Aadhaar-based registration, so candidates must have a valid Aadhaar number. Also,for successful face authentication, users need to install the "Aadhaar Face RD" app from the Google Play Store. Without fulfilling these technical and identification requirements, candidates will not be able to complete the application process via the mobile app.
How to Use mySSC App?
The Staff Selection Commission has enhanced the mySSC app to allow candidates to complete the entire application process seamlessly through their mobile devices. With the latest update, applicants can now register, authenticate via Aadhaar, and apply for exams directly from the app. Follow the steps below to use the mySSC app effectively.
- Download the mySSC Mobile App from the Google Play Store.
- Ensure your phone is an Android device with version 11 or higher.
- Download and install the Aadhaar Face RD App from this link.
- Open the mySSC app and go to the One Time Registration (OTR) section.
- Register using your Aadhaar number for identity verification.
- Complete face authentication through the Aadhaar Face RD app.
- After successful registration, log in using your credentials.
- Select the SSC exam you wish to apply for from the list.
- Fill in the application form with the required personal and academic details.
- Upload the necessary documents and your live photograph (if prompted).
- Submit the application and pay the application fee (if applicable).
- Download or take a screenshot of the submitted application for future reference.
