NEST Exam Date 2025: Know Application Dates, Admit Card, Result, Counselling Dates & More!

All the important NEST Exam Dates for the year 2025 have been released through a circular by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) and the University of Mumbai (DAE CEBS) (NEST). The NEST Exam 2025 will be held on 22 June 2025. National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research(NISER), Bhubaneswar, and the University of Mumbai- Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, in 2007. NEST 2025 will be conducted in around 120 cities across India.

• NEST application form was released on 17th February 2025, on the official website in online mode.

NEST Application Form Release Date 2025

The NEST registration process for admission began on 21st Feb 2022. Candidates can fill it out anytime between 17-Feb-2025 and 9-May-2025 (11:45 PM). The last date for fee payment is 9 May 2025 (11:45 PM). Candidates need to be ready with all certificates and documents before filling out their candidacy application. 

NEST Application Fee 2025

Candidates had to pay the application fee for NEST online on the official website of the exam. Candidates could pay the NEST 2025 exam fee online via Netbanking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.

NEST 2025 Application Form Correction Window Date

Until 9-May-2025 candidates can make any changes regarding their details in the application form. Candidates can make changes in the exam center, the medium through which they can attempt the exam, and the session they are attempting. 

NEST Admit Card Date 2025

The NEST Admit Card for 2025 will be released on 02-Jun-2025 on the official website of NEST. The Admit Card is the most important exam document and has to be printed and carried to the exam hall in person. The NEST admit card has all the personal details, the date of the exam, and the examination center. Candidates have to check and verify all the details on the admit card. In case of any discrepancies, it needs to be brought to the attention of the NEST.

NEST Exam Date 2025

NEST Answer Key Date 2025

The official answer key of the entrance exam will be released by the NEST soon when the exam is conducted. Candidates can refer to the NEST answer key that is available on the official website to cross verify the answers marked.

NEST Result Date 2025

The result of the NEST 2025 will be declared on the official website. Candidates can look up the NEST result on the NEST website by entering their candidacy credentials in the results portal. Cross-check all details and the score. Any mistake must be reported as soon as possible. Print your scorecard for further reference. 

NEST Counselling 2025

All shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses at NISER and CEBS based on their merit lists. It may be noted that there is no joint counseling for the NEST exam. Candidates meeting the Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS) and Minimum Admissible Percentile (MAP) have been ranked in the merit list of NISER and CEBS. The shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the counseling process of NEST 2025 as per the schedule shared by NISER and CEBS.
