Age Limit

A candidate appearing for the BTSC Staff Nurse examination must have a minimum age of 21 years and an upper age limit of 37 years. However, several categories have been awarded certain age relaxations as mentioned previously. Check out the below table to find out more about the age relaxations:

Educational Qualifications

All the candidates who are aiming to appear for the BTSC Staff Nurse post must have successfully completed the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course and earned its certificate in order to be considered for the post. All the candidates must also get themselves registered with Bihar’s Nurses Registration Council.

Domicile

A candidate who is appearing for the BTSC Staff Nurse examination must be a citizen of India. Since the BTSC Staff Nurse is a government post, it requires all its candidates to be citizens of India and not any other country. 

Number of attempts

There is no separate examination that is conducted to recruit potential candidates for the post of BTSC Staff Nurse. However, a candidate must have successfully completed the GNM training course and must have its course completion certificate as proof. Candidates can apply for the post as many times they wish until they exceed the upper age limit. 

Experience

There has been no official declaration as to how many specific years of experience is required for candidates willing to meet the BTSC Staff Nurse Eligibility criteria but all candidates must compulsorily have prior work experience of working in any Bihar Government Hospital. In addition to this, all the candidates must also register themselves with the Bihar’s Nurses Registration Council.

The candidates must keep the following BTSCS Staff Nurse Eligibility Criteria points in mind when they are applying for the Post:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen only. Candidates must possess a domicile certificate for proof. 
• The candidate must have a minimum age limit of 21 years and an upper age limit of 37 years. 
• The candidate must have successfully completed the GNM training course and must have its course completion certificate as proof. 
• The candidate must have their school examination certificates. 
• The candidate must also have a medical certificate, no objection certificate and creamy layer certificate. 
• He/She must also have a Declaration of Unemployment.
