AIEED Eligibility Criteria - Know Age Limit, Academic Qualification & Other Details!

The Arch College of Design & Business conducts the AIEED Entrance Exam for admission of candidates in its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Candidates should meet the AIEED eligibility criteria to appear for the exam. Stage I (General Aptitude Test, or GAT), Stage II (Creative Aptitude Test, or CAT), and Stage III (Personal Interaction) make up the exam's three stages or phases. The AIEED entrance exam for the Arch College of Design and Business is created to measure a candidate's aesthetic sense, inventiveness, and design sensitivity as they pursue rewarding professions in a variety of design-related fields. Additionally, it evaluates the candidate's capacity for logical reasoning and problem-solving.

AIEED Eligibility Criteria 2022

Educational Qualifications

UG Candidates

• Candidates must have successfully completed or attempted Class 10+2 (CBSE, ICSE, IB, State Board, NIOS, or an equivalent board recognised by CBSE).
• According to Pearson-Edexcel norms for all international undergraduate level courses, applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• AIEED Exam is not required for candidates who have a valid NATA score or AIEEE rank. These candidates must only show up for the interview in person.
• The AIEED 2021 is open to Class 10+1 students as well. These candidates will be qualified for direct admission in the upcoming academic session if they pass the entrance exam.

PG Candidates

• Candidates having bachelor’s degree or appearing for final year examination in any stream are eligible to apply

Age Limit Criteria

UG Candidates

Candidates have to complete 16 years of the lower age limit in order to apply for UG Design Courses.

PG Candidates

Candidates must have passed or taken the Class 10+2 exam. The minimum age requirement for applicants to PG Design programs is 21, and they can apply to both the Design Management and the Strategic Management & Leadership Programs.

Number of Attempts

The Arch College of Design and Business has not specified the number of attempts a candidate can make, so it is safe to assume that there is no limit on the number of attempts.

Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Examination

UG Candidates

Candidates should score at least 48% in aggregate in the qualifying exam.

PG Candidates

Candidates should score at least 55% in aggregate in the graduation degree.

AIEED 2022 Nationality Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy all of the prerequisite requirements before applying for AIEED. The candidature will be withdrawn if any of these requirements are not met. Graduate and Post-Graduate courses have various AIEED Eligibility requirements. It is described below:

UG Candidates

Foreign or NRI applicants seeking admission to Arch Academy must provide the listed documentation with their AIEED 2022 application.

• Attested copy of the relevant pages of the passport.
• Equivalence certificate from the concerned Embassy acknowledging & affirming the educational qualifications of the candidate.
• Attested copy of proof of status of NRI/Foreign national.

Major Changes in the AIEED Eligibility Criteria 2022

There has been no major change in the AIEED eligibility criteria. The educational qualification, age limit, number of attempts, aggregate marks, etc have been the same for the past few years.

Eligibility for Admission to Participating Arch College of Design & Business

The Arch college provides 4-year undergraduate programs and 2-year post graduate programs for candidates. The candidate must clear the following criteria to be eligible for admission in the Arch College.

• A Class 12 certificate from a recognised board in any stream with a minimum aggregate grade point average of 48% Candidates with results in progress and a strong pre-board performance are also welcome to apply. Check important AIEED Exam Dates here.
• Candidates graduated with a bachelor's degree in any stream from an accredited college or institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55%. Candidates in their last year with strong academic records are also welcome to apply.

AIEED 2022 Reservation

The institutions' policies and procedures will be followed for the reservation of seats under the various quotas (SC, ST, Defence, Physically Challenged, NRI, etc.). At the time of the admissions procedure, the seats will be made public.
