‘No Payment, No Machine’: Bihar JCB Operator’s Viral Protest Over Unpaid Wages Leaves Internet in Splits

A video from Bihar has gone viral, showing a JCB operator refusing to work without immediate payment, which has sparked widespread laughter and discussion online.

A digger operator from Bihar is attracting online interest with a cheeky and courageous video that has become viral on Instagram. Instead of doing work, he has immobilized his excavator in a muddy pond and would not remove it until he got paid. His forceful message has, without question, come across as “No payment, no work.” In the video, the operator is calmly sitting inside a water-logged machine while speaking on the phone to the contractor, holding both the door and the phone in his hands.

He effectively stated, “Operator ka paisa nahi dejiyega….toh machine toh kam nahi karga..na.” The operator was not mad but he was certainly serious about needing to get paid. He extracts himself from asking for the payment and says, “Payment daliya, toh paani mein se machine nikaalenge. Nahi to nahi nikaalenge, yahi choddenge sir.” The camera shows the excavator half-submerged in muddy water.

His thick Bihari presenting to him in dialect adds flavor to the message too. “Dekhlijiyega kitna sara paani hai sir… pura cabin main pani ghus gaya hai,” he said proudly. “Pehla paisa daliya. Haan… hum Bihari bolrahe hai. Operator log se punga nahi lena ka sir. Turant paisa daaliye.” This was not a regular complaint, but a clever way to take his pay, with local flavor and drama.

One user stated, “This is a really cute language….. dat to rahe hai par pyar to dekho bolne me.” “Sir Sir bolke dhamki dey raha hai isko boltey hai “being Professional” added a second user says. “The fact that the employer already knew Only Bihari could do something like this,” added a third user.

“Bihari se bahas to zindagi tahas nahas,” a fourth user wrote jokingly. “Heavy operator,” added a fifth user. “Kash ye attitude har corporate wala dikha sake,” another user added. “Ye hai wo “ek bihari sau pe bhari” kahawat ko charitarth karne wala situation,” another person commented.
