The DJI Mavic 4 pro has been unveiled with its new features and upgrades that enable it to have faster speeds than its predecessors, travel fairly further distances than before and last in the air longer with its new extensive battery backup. Beyond the new improvements, the drone would also have a 360 degree infinity gimbal. The Gimbal would be able to rotate a full 360 Degrees.
The Gimbal has been improved to hold three cameras, a wide angle camera, a medium telephoto camera as well as a Long Tele photo camera. The main camera would be a 100MP Hasselblad with a large four thirds sensor and a wide 28mm lens as well. The Module would also have adjustable aperture from f/2.0 to f/11.
A new Three Camera Combination
An amalgamation of three cameras with different properties would promise a consistent colour production. This would allow the user and the editor to easily edit and snip videos with ease. All three cameras would support 10-bit D-Log,D-Log M and HLG color profiles. Users would get the chance to get 4K/60fps HDR video with at least 13 Stops of dynamic range from any one camera.
The Hasselblad main camera can easily scale upto 6K/60fps and has upto 16 dynamic stops for better dynamic range. If you want to shoot slow motion clips the main camera and Medium Tele cameras would have 4K/120fps modes, while the long tele goes up to 4K/100fps.
Beyond the camera capabilities the Dji Mavic 4 pro also has a 95W battery that would offer more power and help the drone fly for 51 minutes and catch a top speed of around 90km/h. The 3 pro could only stay in the air for 43 minutes. The Upgraded DJI O4+ system lets you fly the drone upto 41km range and if you keep to 30km range users would be able to get 10Bit Hdr Video transmission.
Collision Avoidance System
The Upgraded Drone has also been equipped with six fisheye cameras with low light capability and dual processors for navigation and collision avoidance. With these new sensors, the drone would be able to achieve omnidirectional obstacle avoidance at upto 65km/h in low light. In good light the drone would be able to map its environment and can easily return to its home without any GPS reception.
New Remote For Mavic 4 Pro
For the new updated drone, DJI has also introduced a new remote, the DJI RC Pro 2, the remote now has 7 inch mini LED display and a 128 Gb built in memory. The remote itself has a battery life of up to 4 hours. The Mavic 4 Pro can be used with the parallel charging hub, and it would be able to charge up to 3 batteries at once.
