Later, the veteran campaigner turned his innings into a 150-run-plus knock right after the lunch break, having scored 105* after facing just 186 balls by stumps on the first day of 2021-22. Mushfiqur Rahim Tops – Highest Runs, Didn’t Bowl Once
Mushfiqur Rahim is currently first in another exclusive list of the most runs between all the formats of the game, with no inclination to being a bowler. Bangladesh legend did this by smashing his 12th Test century, which he managed to achieve against Sri Lanka at the Galle grounds in the middle of June. Mushfiqur, now playing a haul of 15,509 runs without a bowling delivery to his name, surpassed Adam Gilchrist, a former Australian wicketkeeper-batter and thrice World Cup champion. These are three players who have the highest run count among international cricketers who are not balls.

Mushfiqur Rahim, another Bangladeshi who scored 6214 of those runs in his 178 Tests batting since his 2005 debut. In the process, the cricketer has plundered 12 tons and 27 half-centuries. The 38-year-old has also scored 7,795 runs in 274 ODI matches with Bangladesh and 1,500 runs in 93 T20I innings to total a combined score of 15,509 runs in 527 innings at an average of 34.23.
