The service lane along the National Highway connecting Ballabhgarh to Faridabad will be closed for repairs, and will be until June 15. A traffic announcement from Faridabad police stated the lane would be closed due to damaged patches and potholes in front of the Mahinda showroom, as the issue can become even more hazardous to commuters when monsoons start. The repairs will use pave blocks as a strategy to mitigate further deterioration with impending waterlogging.
Commuters will have other routes for vehicles traveling using the service lane: ‘vehicle flow permitted on service lane then police has indicated to merge to Highway near Goodyear or Bharat for those carrying forward work traveling towards Faridabad’.
Also, traffic coming from Mujesar will be diverted using YMCA to avoid congestion and allow unimpeded vehicle movement, with police assisting at movement points to guide drivers.
In-charge of Traffic Police Station Vinod Kumar requested the public to cooperate with the work taking place and to follow the diversions for their own safety and smoother traffic flow. We are repairing the road to make conditions safer prior to the rainy season that often further complicates already damaged stretches of roads and inconveniences in the commute.
