Gautam Adani, a proud father, expressed his happiness on social media by writing Hindi, saying, “I am very happy that my son Jeet and daughter-in-law Diva are starting their married life with a special pledge. They have decided to help by giving ₹10 lakh each year for the weddings of 500 differently-abled sisters. As a father, this good deed makes me feel very proud and blessed.”

The pre-wedding celebrations started on February 5 and included a mix of tradition and fun. One of the special moment was when the couple danced wholeheartedly to Bhangra with Gurdeep Mehndi, the son of famous singer Daler Mehndi. He performed the popular song Dhol Baje Dum Dum at the event, as reported by India Today.
Famous fashion designer Manish Malhotra teamed up with the NGO Family of Disabled (FOD) to make special shawls for Jeet and Diva. According to reports, Preeti Johar, a trustee at FOD, told IndianExpress.com that Diva’s shawl is made of pashmina, while Jeet’s is made of pure silk twill fabric. Both shawls have hand-painted borders and are designed by Manish Malhotra.
The NGO also helped by making hand-painted wedding items like glassware, plates, and other accessories. Johar said, “For the wedding, we have designed wine glasses, water glasses, and chai glasses, all decorated with beautiful floral designs.”
The wedding will take place on February 7 at Shantigram, the Adani township in Ahmedabad. It will follow traditional Jain and Gujarati customs. Last month, during his visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Gautam Adani said the ceremony would be “simple and traditional,” focusing on cultural values instead of a grand celebration.
Jeet Adani, who manages Adani Airports and Adani Digital Labs, joined the Adani Group in 2019 after studying at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. His bride, Diva Jaimin Shah, is the daughter of well-known Surat-based diamond businessman Jaimin Shah. The couple got engaged on March 12, 2023, in a private ceremony in Ahmedabad.
